Paul de Hek is project manager and senior researcher at SEOR since 2012. He graduated in econometrics (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and obtained a PhD in economics (Tinbergen Institute). He has worked at several universities as researcher and assistant professor. Furthermore, he has worked at the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and LEI (part of Wageningen University).
Paul is specialised in research in the field of labour market, social security, micro- and macroeconomics. During his career, he has gained experience with a large number of quantitative methods and techniques. These methods can be used to perform adequate comparisons, map labour market transitions, determine relationships between variables, etc. Hence, Paul is the specialist in quantitative research within SEOR.
SEOR is an independent social economic research organisation linked to the Erasmus School of Economics and provides research and advisory services to both public and private sector clients worldwide.
